Mobile-First Progressive Web App

The Problem

In markets with unstable connectivity, users were unable to use the app in poor network conditions, and the native app had 200MB+ download size that deterred adoption.

The Solution

Built a progressive web app with intelligent caching strategies via Workbox, background sync for offline order placement, and an adaptive loading system based on network conditions.

Architecture

Vue 3 + Vite with Workbox service worker, IndexedDB for offline data, and a server-side rendering strategy to deliver usable content on first load.
